Estimación temprana del nivel de sostenibilidad de estructuras de hormigón, en el marco de la instrucción española EHE-08

2013
The Spanish Structural Concrete Code is a pioneering initiative, including a model for assessing structural sustainability, taking into account different environmental, social and economic issues. Many of them can not be known with certainty until the end of the construction. The success in the achievement of the initially established sustainability objective can only be reached performing realistic, periodical assessments, all along the project life-cycle. This will allow having a clear idea of the likelihood of achieving that objective, in order of making effective decisions in good time. This paper contributes to the adequate structural assessment in early stages of the project. On the other hand, since this was the first time a sustainability assessment technique has been included in a structural code, the user can have difficulties or doubts for interpreting and applying it. The second objective of this paper is solving those problems.
