The total polyphenol content was determined using the Folin & Ciocalteu and the antioxidant activity by the method of bleaching radical cation 2.2'-azinobis-3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonic acid (ABTS •+ ) using Trolox as a reference standard.
