Application of Steel Slag in Sulphoaluminate Cement

Due to the activity of steel slag is very low,so a measure for enhancing its hydrational property is experimentally studied by means of alkali activation in the sulphoaluminate cement system.The rezults show that there are certain effects for activating the steel slag by using of sulphoaluminate cement,especially when the content of steel slag is about 10%,the effect is more obvious.And the activation efficieucy for adding with fly ash and steel slag together is higher than that of adding with furnace slag and steel slag together,the compressive strength of sulphoaluminate cement mortar when adding of 10% fly ash and steel slag is far higher than that of cement mortar without mineral admixture.
