Radio network optimization with maximum independent set search

Future mobile systems will require huge radio network densities. Consequently, radio network planning and optimization may become a tedious problem. In this paper, a mathematical model of the radio network planning problem is proposed and results obtained with a software implementing this problem and working with real geographical data are discussed.
