Distributed generation based on Fuel Cell system using a non-isolated high step up DC-DC converter

This paper presents an analysis of a high step up DC-DC converter for Fuel Cells systems. Firstly, it is presented the Fuel Cell model and the average and small-signals model of the DC-DC converter, which is used to properly design the control of the DC-link voltage for the voltage source inverter. Additionally, it is also shown the control topology for the DC-AC converter when the system supplies energy to a local load. In order to evaluate the paper, experimental results are shown to support the proposed approach.
