Automatic Correction of Current Imbalance for Multi-Phase COT Ripple-Based Control DC-DC Converter

This paper describes a multi-phased ripple-based DC-DC converter with constant on-time (COT) control, where the current imbalance caused by phase errors among channels and LC element dispersion is automatically corrected by the error amplifier feedback control. We propose its correction scheme, where the inductor current is changed by modulating the on-time of COT pulse, and present its circuits and simulation verification.
