Estados emocionales en el postparto

From Attachment Theory we propose an alternative explanation about the emotional changes of postpartum known as Maternity Blues, wich traditionally are considered as a mild depressive disorder secondary to hormonal deficiency. Many data support the alternative hypothesis seeing such emotional changes of neuroendocrine origin representing indeed an adaptative psychobiological response favouring the mother-infant bond.
