Effect of Temperature on Incoherently Coupled Dark–Bright Soliton Pair in Photorefractive Crystals

2022
We study the consequence of temperature variation of the photorefractive crystal on the self-trapping of an incoherently coupled dark–bright soliton pair in biased centrosymmetric photorefractive crystal for the first time. A variation in temperature changes the value of the dielectric constant and the dark irradiance, hence affecting the self-trapping nonlinearity. We find that the soliton width increases with an increase in temperature. Potassium lithium tantalate niobate (KLTN) has been considered as a relevant example to illustrate our results.
