Performance of spinel LiMn_2O_4 modified by mesocarbon microbeads

The mesocarbon microbeads(MCMB) modified LiMn2O4 was synthesized by critic acid complex method and researched by XRD testing.Cyclic voltammetry(CV) testing was used to analyze the effects of MCMB adding amount to the electrochemical performance of samples and verified by galvanostatic charge-discharge test.The adding of MCMB reduced the crystal lattice parameters,raised the discharge plateau voltage and enlarged the peak current.The initial discharge specific capacity of sample with 3% MCMB was 130.56 mAh/g,raised 17.8% higher than that of pure LiMn2O4.
