Dipeptide derivative and preventing and therapeutic agent for osteopathy comprising the same as active ingredient

1992
PURPOSE: To obtain a new dipeptide derivative, having suppressing action on the reduction in Ca salts in the bone and useful for preventing or treating malignant hypercalcemia, bone Behcet's disease or osteoporosis. CONSTITUTION: The dipeptide derivative of formula I (R 1 is 2-8C aliphatic acyl or benzyloxycarbonyl; R 2 and R 3 are H or 1-4C alkyl), e.g. 3-(N- benzyloxycarbonylleucylamido)-1-fluoro-2-heptanone. This compound of formula I is obtained by dissolving a compound of formula II in a solvent, adding monofluoroacetic anhydride and a catalytic amount of a 4-dialkylaminopyridine to the resultant solution, then adding a trialkylamine thereto and carrying out the reaction.
