Custom Made Vertical Pins (I-Pins): An Alternative to T-Pins

Mechanics like retraction and setting of occlusion in systems like tip-edge and modified edgewise are generally accomplished by the use of T-pins. These pins are highly flexible and get pulled out of the vertical slot when the elastic force is applied and hinders the treatment. This disadvantage can be overcome by the use of a custom made rigid pin called I-pin.
