Optimization of ultrasonic-assisted extraction technique of active polysaccharide from flat algae (Platymonas subcordigoramis).

2013
【Objective】Extraction process of polysaccharide from flat algae was optimized to provide theoretical references for commercial production of flat algae polysaccharides. 【Method】Using single factor and orthogonal experiment, the extraction conditions of active flat algae polysaccharide were investigated in terms of treatment temperature, treatment time and treatment power. 【Result 】The order of the effect factors was treatment time treatment power treatment temperature. The optimum conditions for extracting active polysaccharide were ultrasonic power of 280 W under 50 ℃ for60 min. Under the optimal conditions, the yield of extracted polysaccharides could reach 24.38%, which was 5.13% higher than hot water extraction method(19.25%). 【Conclusion】Ultrasonic, which evidently promoted the extraction of polysaccharide from flat algae, was an effective and practical way to extract polysaccharide.
