Investigations on the Host Plants and Damage of Bemisia tabaci(Gennadius) in Xi′an Area

The host plants of Bemisia tabaci(Gennadius) were investigated and identified from 2004 to 2005 in Xi'an area,Shaanxi Province.All of the host plants can be classified into 4 grades according to the damage degree caused by B.tabaci.There were 53 species of host plants of B.tabaci belonging to 24 families,among which Solanaceae,Cucurbitaceae,Leguminosae,Cruciferae and Compositae are the major families.
