Abstract The depolarization ratio of unshifted scattering radiation was measured in the liquids CS 2 , C 6 H 6 , CCl 4 , CH 3 OH and C 6 H 5 CH 3 while exposed to an electric field strength up to 0.7 × 10 6 V/cm.
