UMA DISCUSSÃO DAS PRÁTICAS EMPREGAGAS EM SALA DE AULA: UMA ABORDAGEM NO ENFOQUE DA MODELAGEM MATEMÁTICA

Mathematics nowadays is based on several sciences and is present in various areas of human knowledge. In time gone, employed to develop and manipulate everyday situation. Regarding education, the motivating support is the challenge of making the student understand his role in society as an active citizen and transforming his reality. Today, Mathematical Modeling has the same function, interpreting and understanding the most diverse phenomena in our society and exposing solutions through models. This article was elaborated from a bibliographical research, aiming to discuss the importance of the use of mathematical modeling in the classroom, in primary and secondary education, as a strategy in the teaching and learning process, aiming to favor the acquisition of mathematical knowledge situations. Seeking to evaluate how these resources can potentiate the pedagogical practices in comparison with the traditionalist method. However, there are several questions about the incorporation of this methodology, because some teachers do not use these practices more frequently? Would the teacher be prepared to work these instruments correctly? Therefore, it is believed that the practice of mathematical modeling can potentiate better and more satisfactory results in the teaching and learning process, by bringing to the school context real situations, coming from reality, propitiating the search for mathematical models for understanding and resolution to a challenge, both in the social sphere and in the mathematical context.
