Der MVV-Wohn- und Mobilitaetsrechner (MVV-WoMo) ist eine kostenlose Online-Anwendung des Muenchner Verkehrs- und Tarifverbundes, der Privathaushalten die Moeglichkeit eroeffnet, die Folgen der Entscheidung fuer eine Wohnung an verschiedenen Standorten in der Region Muenchen transparent aufzuzeigen. Mit einbezogen werden die Auswirkungen auf die Umwelt. Viele Vergleichsrechnungen zeigen, dass durch einen Umzug ins Umland haeufig keine Einsparungen erzielt werden. Das Potenzial haengt massgeblich von der Verkehrsmittelwahl ab. (A) ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: The residential and mobility cost calculator of Munich's Transport and Tariff Association (MVV) is a free online tool which gives the chance to private households to illustrate the consequences for different places of residence in the area of Munich. The daily traffic routes by different means of transport that have to be taken at the respective home are also included as well as the impact on the environment. Comparative calcutations show that savings can not always be achieved by moving to the countryside. The potential depends largely on the choice of transport. (A)
