In the mol­ecule of the title compound, C15H12BrN3O, the dihedral angle between the benzotriazole ring system and the benzene ring is 19.0 (1)°. π–π inter­actions stabilize the crystal structure (centroid-to-centroid distances of 3.729 and 3.690 A).
