Design and development of IoT based cement bag counting system

Abstract Accurate cement bags counting in a loaded truck and keeping a track of them has been a tedious and labour intensive task since long. Existing systems are not very accurate and being highly labour intensive can also cause human errors. This paper presents an automatic and accurate solution to the problem using IoT devices since the concept of Internet of Things (IoT) has become more popular in the modern era of technology This paper focuses on giving the accurate count of bags and a track on their theft while distribution. Using sensors and controller together, a system can be built to automatically count the bags of cements while they are being arranged into the truck and also when the truck is loaded. Positioning sensors additionally can be used to track the vehicle while delivery and track human interference with the cement bags.
