Waveforms, Phasors and Reactive Circuit Elements

1993
In programmes 2 and 3 we studied several ways of analysing circuits which were made up of resistors and direct current and voltage generators. In most electronic circuits, however, the so-called ‘d.c. conditions’ are only the starting point. The usefulness of a circuit usually depends on how it affects changing voltages and currents which are applied to it as ‘inputs’. We shall begin the study of this kind of circuit operation in this programme.
