The Effects of Lentinan Polysaccharide and Ara-c on the Ability of HL-60 Cells Proliferation

2005
Objective:To study the effects of lentinan polysaccharide and Ara-c in the ability of proliferation on HL-60 cells. Method:Observing the activity, inhibited-rate and the colony-formation-ability of the HL-60 cells in lentinan polysaccharide-Ara-c group, lentinan polysaccharide group, Ara-c group and control group. Result: The differences in colony-formation-ability and inhibited-rate of the HL-60 cells between lentinan polysaccharide-Ara-c group and the other three groups were significant, but there is no difference in the activity when the former compared with the Ara-c group, also there is no difference between lentinan polysaccharide group and control group in each parametes. Conclusion:Lentinan polysaccharide helps to enhance the ability of Ara-c in killing the HL-60 cells.
