Review of Regime Maps of Steam-Submerged Direct Contact Condensation

The steam submerged direct contact condensation is applied in industry fields，especially in nuclear engineering, as it has high heat transfer coefficients. The regime map is one of the hot spots of the steam submerged direct contact condensation as it’s the foundation of understanding the phenomenon. Lots of researchers have researcher the regime of steam submerged direct contact condensation. Different researchers have plotted different regime maps with their own or other people’s experimental data. This article reviews the present research on the regime maps.
