Development of CAD/CAM system for PC-based CNC pipe bender machine

In this paper, the general structure of the CAD/CAM system oriented to PC-based CNC pipe bender machine is put forward, the system data flow, internal data format and key features of this CAD/CAM is presented. At the same time, the modularization and function is described, key techniques such as command driven pipe generation, interpolation of kinematics commands, parametric clamp die model builder and simulation techniques are described in detail.
