Factores socio-ambientales que incidieron en el establecimiento de redes de monitoreo hidrometeorológico en Colombia

The Hydrometeorological behavior of a territory is the unequivocal evidence of its proceed; understand that pressures, they trigger alterations to the planetary atmospheric cycles, and that these are translated into the local expressions very specific, and should be the motivation to establish strategies for monitoring and follow-up, that allow to understand the physical laws, so as to see, anticipate, and decide on the natural environment of the territory. In Colombia, the consolidation of the network of hydrometeorological monitoring has allowed the projection of environmental, social and economic benefits, which, in turn, have led to the development of the nation. To know the distribution of the territory, its status, dynamic and pressures on the natural systems, it is essential to articulate planning and decision-making processes that will integrate the functionality of ecosystem services; Consequently, interpret the social dynamics, political, economic and environmental interference has had on the establishment of hydrometeorological monitoring allows you to identify the development model that has implemented the region from the 19th century, in this context, this document, aims to identify and analyze the relevant dynamics that influenced the establishment of monitoring networks, in time and space in Colombia.
