Production of high colority yellow pigments from Leucosceptrum canum by activated carbon

Based on single factor tests,the optimum production conditions of high colority yellow pigments from Leucosceptrum canum were obtained through Box-Behnken Design(BBD).The results showed that the order of factors affecting the elution rate of yellow pigments(Y) was liquid-solid ratioelution timeelution temperaturealcohol-acetion ratio,and the optimum elution conditions of yellow pigments were as follows: elution temperature 38.62℃,elution time 40 min,alcohol-acetone ratio 11∶10 and liquid-solid ratio 25∶1(V/W).Under such conditions,the two-time elution rate of yellow pigments from Leucosceptrum canum was up to 93.8550%,the colority of yellow pigments was from 18.65(±0.23) up to 852.77(±0.82).
