Master the theory of discriminant analysis and improve clinical practice: comment again the universality, diversity and questionability of obstetric issues in different regions

2020
Obstetric issues are universal, diverse and questionable worldwide. For obstetric issues, whether in face of clinical practice or theoretical knowledge, whether in face of study of obstetric related guidelines or practice control, whether from patients or obstetricians, whether in developed or developing countries, there are commonalities, but also diversity and complexity. The " human" factor plays a key role on those issues. This article focuses on discussing prenatal care, preeclampsia pathogenesis, and prevention of preeclampsia by aspirin or pravastatin, antihypertension treatment during pregnancy and over-medical aspects. Understanding the diversity of obstetric issues, mastering the learning method of questioning discriminant analysis, avoiding accepting research results without thinking, and avoiding copying guidelines completely without analysis, thereby we can improve the ability of obstetric clinical practice. Key words: Prenatal care; Pre-eclampsia; Aspirin; Pravastatin; Prevention; Antihypertension; Over-medical
