Performance Study of the Radial Jet Cyclone

A new cyclone called Radial Jet Cyclone is designed with the special structure,which greatly helps enhancing the centrifugal force of particles in the cyclone separation zone.The numerical simulation and experimental validation methods was used to study this new type of cyclone.The results show that the Radial Jet Cyclone effectively improve the removal efficiency of separation of Pulvis Talci to 93.9%,which is 30% compared with the DM cyclone at a considerable pressure loss.The average particle size of Pulvis Talci is 4μm.The results also show that the greatest advantage of the Radial Jet Cyclone is the effective improvement of capturing the fine particles.
