P051 USING DHIS FOR CALIBRATING DEPTH MAPS - A CASE HISTORY FROM AN OFFSHORE OIL FIELD MARCO SERAZZI and FRANCESCO MARCHINI Abstract 1 ENI SpA Agip Div. via dell’Unione Europea 1 San Donato Milanese Italy Introduction and Conclusions Some non-conventional techniques have been used for the calibration of seismic depth maps as part of a comprehensive reservoir study of an off-shore turbiditic oil field (location is not specified due to confidentiality). A reprocessed 3D seismic time volume and a revised sedimenthological model allowed to recognise seismic evidences of Oil-Water-Contact reflections that had been previously interpreted as shaling-outs and faults.
