La vid, el vino y el CSIC: dos siglos de investigación

espanolLa vid y el vino no solo son un cultivo o un alimento de gran valor economico a nivel mundial, sino que ademas estan estrechamente relacionados con la cultura, las tradiciones y la vida cotidiana. Sin embargo, la enorme importancia que la uva y el vino tienen para nosotros es casi equivalente al desconocimiento que existe sobre su relacion con la actividad cientifica. Este libro, de caracter multidisciplinar, enciclopedico, divulgativo y bilingue, es el resultado del esfuerzo realizado por los cientificos para dar a conocer, de forma didactica y sencilla, los resultados de las multiples investigaciones que, en torno a la vid y el vino, se han venido realizando en los distintos centros hoy pertenecientes al Consejo Superior de investigaciones Cientificas, tanto en ciencias como en humanidades. Pretenden ser tambien estas paginas un lugar de encuentro entre los cientificos, las empresas vitivinicolas y todos aquellos sectores que, de una manera u otra, estan relacionados con la vitivinicultura. Por ello, no solo se muestran los trabajos realizados y sus resultados, sino que ademas se indica el centro del CSIC en el que se ha llevado a cabo, el grupo de investigacion que los ha desarrollado y el contacto del investigador responsable, pensando en aquellas entidades o personas interesadas en ampliar informacion sobre alguno de los temas concretos incluidos en la obra.
