A pulse compression radar signal processor

The aim ofthe research presented here is to produce a custom digital processing device. Specifically, this paper outlines the application and the development of a flexible processor which may be used to perform high speed real time signal processing necessary for pulse compression. Flexibility in the design is required to permit the use of multiple code types needed for phase coded pulse compression, which ultimately allows the elimination of ambiguities caused by high pulse repetition frequencies (p.r.f).
