Research on One-dimensional the Function Photonic Crystals of Left-handed and Tight-handed

With the method of light transfer matrix,the one-dimensional function photonic crystals of band structure and defect model were studied.By changing the refractive index of left-handed and right-handed,we find defect model was weakened,the width of band gaps increased and the number of band gaps increased when the refractive index of right-handed increased.When the absolute value of left-handed refractive index reduced,defect model was weakened,the number of defect model and band gaps reduced.The conclusion provide important theoretical basis for the design of filter and optical switch,so there will be very important application value.
