The Originality of Axial Civilizations and the Free Play of History

This chapter describes how the axial civilizations of around 500 BC, one of the most intense creative moments in human history, create a temporal narrative in which there is a close link between play and the making of utopias. To do this, I will develop two concept maps that delimit the characteristic aspects of both. Thus, it will be verified that the Axial Stage is, indeed, original and that it organizes a highly creative temporal narrative that renews the tradition of the past while building our future.
