Influence of power-to-heat installations on wind power consumption in regional energy system

2021
The regional energy system uses the coupling of multiple energy systems to replace the independent operation of the traditional single energy system, effectively reducing primary energy consumption and carbon emissions. However, with the increase of wind turbines, the problem of wind abandoning becomes increasingly prominent. How to improve the consumption of surplus wind power on the basis of the existing flexible device is an urgent problem to be solved in the current regional energy system. Therefore, this paper studies the influence of the capacity configuration of the power-to-heat installations on the absorption of wind abandoning in the electric-thermal system.First of all, based on the investment cost of heat pump and electric boiler, operation and maintenance cost, and the minimum total cost of discounted coal consumption cost of the system, the optimization model of cogeneration regional energy system with power-to-heat installations was established. Finally, a simulation analysis of the capacity configuration of the power-to-heat installations is carried out through the Energy Plan platform based on data such as the electric heating demand of a certain place, and a case study is carried out with a period of one year. The results show that after the proper capacity configuration of the power-to-heat installations, the system can be changed to determine the power by heat, and the flexibility of the system can be improved. In addition to meeting the electric heating demand, the total investment and operation costs are reduced to improve the consumption level of wind power.
