Paper money treating device

PURPOSE: To make the device adaptable to both a front operating type ATM and a rear operating type ATM and to constitute a customer service part of one chamber. CONSTITUTION: The customer service parts 2, 3 are arranged at the front and rear of the device, and safe boxes 10-12 and a reject box 13 are arranged at a side where the customer service part 2 is arranged, and they are connected to a discrimination part 5 and a surface/back turning part 6 with carrier paths 20-45 so that money can be thrown in and taken out from both the customer service parts 2 and 3. Thereby, it is possible to adapt to both the front operating type ATM and the rear operating type ATM by locating either the customer service part 2 or 3 at the operating side of a customer. Also, it is possible to constitute the customer service part of one chamber by sending a forged paper money or an undiscriminating one passing through the discrimination part 5 when it is thrown in to the customer service part on one side and sending it out from the customer service part for re-discrimination.
