Protein sorting: A new quality control pathway for GPI-anchored proteins.

2021
Summary Glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins are a class of lipid-anchored membrane proteins found at the surface of all eukaryotic cells. New work provides genome-wide insights into mechanisms that mediate quality control of the folding of this important protein family.
