Algunhas claves do discurso literario de María Victoria Moreno

Based on Maria Victoria Moreno’s statements, I will analyse her conception of writing as venting, her relationship with books and the act of reading, her teaching vocation and dedication and her firm commitment to a language as much as to a well-defined target reader of her works. I will assess the criteria she follows in order to build her works for children and young adults: quality, visible ethical purposes in the insertion of human values and the aesthetic stance in which the search for beauty plays a leading role. I will focus on the recurring discursive strategies in her texts, particularly those strategies related to the structure of the stories, the formulation of dichotomies, narrative perspectives and the approach to time and space.
