Passively stable astrocomb from 550–890-nm for high resolution on-sky spectroscopy

A broadband visible astrocomb was implemented on the 10-m Southern African Large Telescope, delivering complete calibration of one channel of its high-resolution spectrograph. The passively stable master comb removed the need for overnight CEO-frequency locking.
