Validity of myocardial scintigraphy, measurement of pulmonary artery pressure and intravenous digital subtraction angiocardiography in the evaluation of the effect of PTCA

Primary success of PTCA can easily be proved by coronary angiography. Since clinical symptoms and exercise electrocardiograms can only give limited information, quantitative evaluation of long term success implies repeated invasive diagnostic procedures.
