Effect of Inner Surface Roughness of waveguides on Transmission Performance in Terahertz Band

The influence of high frequency structure’s inner surface roughness on its transmission performance by simulation and modeling in the paper. Taking 0.5THz single grating structure Terahertz backward wave oscillator(BWO) for example, square wave modeling is used as the simulation function of roughness. The results of power loss with those obtained by the calculation method provided in other papers are compared to verify the correctness of the model.
