НЕОАД’ЮВАНТНА ТЕРАПІЯ З ПРИВОДУ САРКОМИ М’ЯКИХ ТКАНИН КІНЦІВОК І ТУЛУБА

It was analyzed the results of treatment the 208 patients with soft tissue sarcoma (STS) IIb–III stage, depending on the tactics of neoadjuvant treatment with a combination of radiation therapy (RT), chemotherapy and radical surgery. In 53 patients the treatment included the amount neoadjuvant (NA) RT, total focus dose (TFD) 40–45 Gy followed by surgery; in 114 – caried out wide excision of the tumor; in 41 – two courses of the chemotherapy (CHT) followed by surgery. Local 3–year survival was accordingly (49.1±6.8), (33.3 ± 4.4) and (64.3±7.4)%. It was found the significant statistical advantage of using RT and CHT over surgery treatment. The investigation is testifying for prospects of these methods in the treatment of patients with STS.
