Zur Initiierung der Emulsionspolymerisation von Vinylchlorid mit Kaliumperoxidisulfat. 4. Zur Herkunft ionischer Gruppen am Emulsionspolyvinylchlorid

Emulsionspolymerisate des Vinylchlorids enthalten ionische Endgruppen. Vergleichende Polymerisationen mit markiertem Initiator (K2S2O8) und markierten Emulgatoren weisen aus, das diese Endgruppen uberwiegend auf kovalent gebundene Emulgatorfragmente zuruckzufuhren sind. Der Bildungsmechanismus dieser Gruppierungen wird diskutiert. Poly(vinyl chloride) obtained by emulsion polymerization contains ionic end groups. By comparative polymerizations with labelled initiator (K2S2O8) and with labelled emulsifiers, respectively, it is shown that these end groups mainly result from covalently bound fragments of the emulgator. The mechanism of the incorporation of these groups is discussed.
