Therapy induced ketamine addiction

Abstract: Ketamine is a known dissociative anesthetic, which is also used as rapid anti-depressant and anti-suicidal agent. Recent literature is pooling up in favor of its therapeutic effect in refractory depression, but much of light is not shed on its side effects. Here we present a case of ketamine addiction following its therapeutic usage in refractory depression.
