Integration of Data Acquisition Systems of Belle II Outer-Detectors for Cosmic Ray Test

2017
The Belle II experiment is scheduled to start the physics run in 2018 and the development of data acquisition (DAQ) system as well as its detector is ongoing. Currently, most of outer sub-detectors have already been installed in the Belle II detector and their performance will be tested in cosmic-ray measurement before the beam collision starts. The integration of the DAQ system for the cosmic ray test was first done with a small-sized read-out system and then we moved on to the full-scale system. The system is modularized for each sub-detector so that stand-alone and combined data-taking can be switched easily. We measured the performance of the readout system after the integration and confirmed that the integrated DAQ system for installed sub-detectors actually worked at the designed trigger rate of the Belle II experiment, 30 kHz. We also observed cosmic ray events with the integrated DAQ system.
