Washing aqueous antimicrobial hand comprising: an active ingredient based on phenol selected from 2,3,4'-trichloro-2'-hydroxydiphenyl ether, 2,2'-dihydroxy-5,5'dibromodifenil ether, p-chloro- m-xylenol, ortho-phenylphenol, and mixtures thereof; an amphoteric surfactant selected from the group consisting of disodium capryloamphodiactate and cocaminopropionic acid; and quaternary ammonium compound selected from the group consisting of derivatives of polyethylene glycol (PEG) of a quaternary ammonium salt of a fatty amine, polypropylene glycol derivatives (PPG) a quaternary ammonium salt of fatty amine, and mixtures thereof, wherein said quaternary ammonium compound dissolves at least a portion of said phenol-based active ingredient.
