Urological Reconstructions in Gynecological Oncology

2019
Gynaecological onco-surgeons are required to treat tumours aggressively but cause less morbidity. Ureteric and bladder injuries during resection are often encountered. There are many time-tested methods for ureter repair which are associated with increased morbidity. We report our experience of using the vermiform appendix for reconstruction of the ureter as it is associated with less morbidity.
