Dyke-Davidoff-Masson Sendromu: Olgu Sunumu

Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome is characterized with facial asymmetry, hemiplegia or hemiparesis, epilepsy, cerebral hemiatrophy in neuro-imaging, unilateral thickening of the skull, extensive widening of paranasal sinuses and increase in air levels, mental retardation, psychiatric disorders, sensorineural hearing loss. Prenatal infection, congenital disorders, birth trauma, brain tumors, aortic coartation, febrile seizures and vascular diseases of the brain have been implicated in the etiology of this syndrome. In this article, a case of a thirty-four years old female aduldhood with Dyke-Davidoff-Masson syndrome characterized by cerebral hemiatrophy in magnetic resonance imaging, left hemiparesis in physical examination and presence of headage is presented.
