The mesoporous silicate-alumina composites application as supports for bifunctional sulfide catalysts for n-hexadecane hydroconversion

2021
The bifunctional catalysts with CoMoS mixed sulfide active phase supported on composite hierarchical aluminosilicate supports obtained by SBA-15, MCM-41 incorporating into alumina were synthesized. The mesoporous additive application allows to tune textural and acidic properties of support with a view to design bifunctional catalyst with optimal activity and selectivity. Improved active phase properties and catalytic activity were observed for the catalysts supported on prepared modified alumina. Catalysts with mesoporous additives are highly active in the hydroconversion of n-hexadecane. It is shown the new Bronsted acid sites formation during the preparation of the supports.
