A simple device fur recovery of fermenter-grown algae

The following describes a simple filter device for recovery of fermenter-grown algae. The process is based on the virtual reduction of the diameter of the filter pores, caused by shear stress of the fluid. Algae retention is accomplished in spite of the fact that the diameter of the filter pores is much larger than that of the single cell.
