Determination of chemical components of the odor with luring activity from withered black poplar leaves by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry.

2001
A report is made of the study of chemical components of the odor with luring activity from withered black poplar leaves. The odor was extracted by steam distillation. Nineteen components in the odor were separated identified by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC/MS), and sixteen of which belonged to aldehyde, alcohol, phenol, ketone, acid and heterocytclic compounds. The peak number of the major chemical components of the odor is No.4, with a relative content of 28.71%; the following is No.14 with a relative content of 10.35%.
