Linfadenitis cervical primaria fistulizada de etiología tuberculosa (escrófula): importancia clínica y diagnóstico diferencial Fistulized primary cervical linphadenitis of tubercular aetiology (scrofula): clinical importance and differential diagnosis

2006
Primary cervical lymphadenitis of tubercular aetiology, without another associate pathology, is a very rare entity; although due to the progressive increase of the tubercular disease, in our country its frequency could be increased. We present a case of isolated cervical lymphadenitis, in a 26-year-old male, diagnosed as a fistulized tumour without any associate disease. The test of tuberculin and sputum cultive were positives. After six months of anti-tuberculosis treatment the patient is free local and systemic disease.
