Numerical control milling machine for specially-shaped spiral rod with double tool rests

2014
The invention provides a numerical control milling machine for a specially-shaped spiral rod with double tool rests. The numerical control milling machine is characterized in that a transverse lead rail is arranged on a first supporting board, wherein a second supporting board and a third supporting board capable of adjusting the opposite distance therebetween are respectively arranged at two ends of the transverse lead rail; a first threading tool and a second threading tool are respectively fixed on the second supporting board and the third supporting board. Two thread lines of a multi-threaded screw can be simultaneously machined under the condition of setting tools one time and ensuring the accuracy. Therefore, not only are the production efficiency and the machining precision improved, but also the manufacturing cost and the labor intensity of a worker are reduced, and various cylindrical screws with equal helical pitches, variable helical pitches, gradient helical pitches, equal groove depths and variable groove depths, and novel customized screws are milled and machined.
